The membership service offered by us is subject to these terms and conditions which are additional to the Website Terms and Conditions of Supply. In particular please note clause 8.2(a) confirming that medicines are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Membership costs €25 per household payable annually. Membership includes two parents and all children up to 18 years of age. To register for membership fill out this form.
An annual recurring charge is set up on the payment card used for initial registration. By agreeing to these terms, you agree to this recurring charge. Healthwave will email the cardholder at the email address used during initial registration one week before their membership is due to renew giving the option of cancellation. Membership can be cancelled at any time by contacting us by phone on 016853086 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Any coupons or discount codes offered by Healthwave for redemption against membership are redeemable against the first year of membership only. Subsequent year’s memberships will be charged at the full price.
- Membership entitles you to cheaper prescription medications.
Membership entitles you to 10% off non-prescription medicines and other products in store or online on selected items, but excludes other special offers.
- Membership entitles you use of our 24 hour blood pressure monitor for €25 (in-store only).
Membership entitles you to 6 free prescription deliveries per year to the registered address of your membership. In the case where more than one adult membership exists at the same address, the total number of free deliveries to this address in any one year is 6. In the case of a family membership, the total number of free deliveries in any one year is 6. Where prescriptions are required for more than one member at the same address, it will be counted as one delivery provided the prescriptions are ordered and delivered at the same time and in the same package.
For the seventh and each subsequent delivery there will be a charge of €5.

Registration can be done on our website, by phone or in store.
Initial ordering of prescription medications must be done in person where you will need to provide us with your original prescription and have a meeting with one of our pharmacists who will prior to the supply of the medicinal product concerned review the prescription having regard to the pharmaceutical and therapeutic appropriateness of the medicine therapy for you.
Our pharmacists will provide a review which may include a screening for any potential therapy problems which may arise out of the use of any medicinal product that has been prescribed for you.
We will continue to hold your original prescription and we will allow you purchase permitted repeats of that prescription by telephone provided the prescribed medicinal product is not a restricted one where we are not permitted to fill that prescription without a prior consultation which we will have with you by telephone or in person prior to the refill being send to you by post and/or courier.
If the prescription is for a child (under 18) we can only accept registration by that child’s parent or guardian. We may ask for proof of identity for both during the registration process.
Only residents of the Republic of Ireland can register for our prescription service.
Once we start to dispense your prescription [we will tell you] and after that the right to cancel an order, set out in clause 8 of the Website Terms and Conditions of Supply will no longer be available to you.
Prescription medicines delivered by courier may be delivered using Healthwave employed drivers in parts of Dublin or using our delivery partners for the rest of the country. We reserve the right to deliver prescription medication using any delivery partner of our choosing. In addition deliveries must be signed for at the time of delivery, either by the subscription holder or someone authorised on their behalf.
- Non Fulfilment
If for any legal, regulatory or other reason we cannot fulfil your order on line, we will contact you and refund any sums paid.
- Prescription Fees
We do not charge dispensing fees.
We are required by law to charge a government levy on medical card prescriptions. This is currently set at €2 per item up to a maximum of €20 per calendar month.
- Delivered Items
Never use medicines that may have been tampered with. If the packaging appears open, or you think the prescribed medicines have been tampered with in any way please contact us immediately by calling or emailing us here: email@example.com and 016853086.
- Sensitive Information
Any sensitive information we learn about you as a result of the prescription service will always be stored and handled in accordance with the Data Protection Acts.
