Who should not take Casacol
Do not take Casacol Expectorant Syrup if:

You are allergic to methoxyphenamine, guaiphenesin, sodium citrate or any of the other ingredients

You have serious kidney problems or a condition called porphyria

You have high blood pressure, coronary thrombosis, an overactive thyroid, closed-angle glaucoma or difficulty passing urine

You are currently taking, or have taken in the last 10 days, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) used for depression or Parkinson’s disease

You are taking other sympathomimetic medicines such as some decongestants or certain medicines used for heart and circulation problems

You are taking any other cough or cold medicine containing similar ingredients

The person to be treated is under 6 years of age
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Casacol if:

You have heart disease or are taking medicines for heart problems or high blood pressure
