Tefin suppositories contain ibuprofen, which has pain reliving and anti-inflammatory properties, so they can be used to reduce pain and also help with inflammation, swelling and reduce temperature. Suppositories can be especially helpful when a child cannot take oral liquid medicine.

Infants 8 to 12 months (7.5 to 10 kg): Use one suppository (75 mg) do not exceed more than three suppositories (225mg) daily.

Toddlers 12 months to 3 years (10 to 15 kg): Use one suppository (75 mg) do not exceed more than four suppositories (300 mg) daily.
